Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Assoc Prof. Bajram Begaj attended the video conference on Strategic Communication in preparation for "Defender 21", a conference organized under the auspices of the US Army Europe and Africa.
The conference was attended by senior US military personnel in Europe, NATO structures, as well as member and partner countries participating in the “Defender 21” exercise, which addressed issues related to the strategic context that pervades the exercise, the communication plan during training elements, as well as the strategy for managing potential misinformation.

The Chief of General Staff of Albanian Armed Forces, Major General Assoc. Prof. Bajram Begaj paid a visit to the garrison of the Land Force Command and the Special Operations Regiment, a newly established unit within the Land Force.
The purpose of this visit was to provide instructions on the protocol of COVID-19, as well as to thank the Land Force staff for the good work of the Land Force, especially in this period.

During the meeting the Major General Hazrolli and major General Prof. assoc. Bajram Begaj expressed their willingness to continue the excellent cooperation between the structures so far.
Due to the heavy snowfall, structures of the Armed Forces have continued their operation to clear the roadway blocked by snow.
Upon the request of Korça Municipality, effective of Regional Defense Detachment in Korça, yesterday evening has carried out the operation using special snowplough equipment to unblock the road segments of: Libonik – Sheqeras – Orman – Rëmbec – Pojan – Zvezde –Golloberde – Potgorie - Maliq, clearing the road that connects all these villages.
The situation in Eastern and Central Albania is normalizing and there are improvements in Lezha. Shkodra is under constant observation by both local and central structures. The Armed Forces are enabling the movement of residents from flooded areas. The Armed Force is transporting food parcels from the State Reserves to the affected areas.
All hydropower plants in the regions of Shkodra, Lezha and Durrës operate at full capacity. There aren’t any evacuated families in Shkodra, even though 4080 ha of land have been flooded.
As a result of landslides, 3 houses have become uninhabitable in the municipality of Puka.
