
The Armed Forces, in function of raising awareness and protecting every citizen, is continuing to distribute food aid to families in need and to monitor / patrol with armored vehicles, as part of measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID. - 19.
Today, the humanitarian operation to distribute food aid to families in need, has continued in Shijak municipality and Manez Administrative Unit. The operation was closely followed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku and the Commander of the General Support Command, Brigadier General Ndriçim Sallaku.
During the delivery of food packages prepared by the State Reserves, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardhyl Kollçaku continued to advise the citizens to avoid as much as possible going out and being close to others.
Also, vehicles of the Land Force are on the ground to support the State Police, to discipline all citizens who do not respect the orders and thus often create a danger to the health of other citizens. At the same time, the Chemistry Company continues its intensive work on disinfecting workplaces and vehicles, preventing the spread of the pandemic among its staff, which affects their health but also the operations of the Force.
Likewise, Support Command structures continue the humanitarian operation to distribute aid to many families in need in the country as well as to earthquake-affected families. The Engineer Battalion continues to work at the State Reserve warehouses in packing and distributing food packages and then transporting them to the required destinations.
Armed Forces structures continue monitoring and patrolling, in support of the State Police throughout the country, in order to prevent the spread of COVID - 19.
The humanitarian operation will continue in the coming days to reach out to every family in need in these difficult days that the country is going through.
