General Gjunkshi attends the graduation ceremony of the training courses in Land Force Command

CHOD, Major General Xhemal Gjunkshi , participated the certification ceremony of NCO-s who finished the training courses in Land Force Command (LFC)  within the framework of bilateral cooperation with the U.S. A (New Jersey National Guard). The ceremony was also attended by Land Force Commander, General Zyber Dushku, chief of ODC, representatives of the New Jersey National Guard, and directors of directorates in the Armed Forces General Staff.

The aim of courses "Warrior Leader for NCO-s" and "Battle Staff", was training and preparation to increase the theoretical and practical knowledge, deepening of knowledge in military decision-making process in defense and offensive operations, as very important elements in planning and mission accomplishment.

In his address on this occasion, CHOD, Major General Xhemal Gjunkshi, emphasized the importance of cooperation with the New Jersey National Guard, and expressed his confidence in further deepening of this cooperation in the future. General Gjunkshi addressed a special assessment to the NCO corps. "Today, our armed forces seem much more completed than ever, more than 3,400 men and women serve as NCO-s in the ranks of the Armed Forces, a force composed entirely of active service. Being fully convinced I can state today that never before have our Armed Forces had an NCO corps so well-trained, educated, qualified that continues to be educated in foreign language, compatible with NATO standards. Known as the "backbone of the Army", these privates first class, corporals, sergeants, staff sergeants, and master sergeants are the first line of supervision for most of the tasks accomplished by the Armed Forces. They will have the opportunity to observe and execute almost every kind of activity starting with the recruitment, preparation, training and health care,” said General Gjunkshi.

 Warrior Leader Course for NCO-s addressed a number of issues related to troops management procedures, those on leadership training, military decision-making process, documentation drafting and offensive defensive operations, manpower motivation to fulfill the mission, military history, military intelligence elements , armories and leadership doctrines. This course was attended by 25 military people out of whom 17 NCO-s and 8 privates who came from the Land Force , Training and Doctrines Command , Naval Force , Logistics Brigade , Regional Protection Brigade and Support Regiment .

While the "Battle Staff NCO Course”  treated topics related to general operations and functions , presentation of order standards and formats, intelligence preparation for the battle - field , getting the mission and its analysis , development of course of action and issues related to drafting of planning documents. The course was attended by 19 military people, out of whom 18 NCO-s from Land Force and one from the Air Force.
