Today in Prizren Minister of Defense of Albania, Mr. Arben Imami and Minister for the Kosovo Security Force, Mr. Agim Ceku signed Status of Force Agreement (SOFA) which regulates the entry and exit procedures, and temporary residence status of the members of the Albanian Armed Forces and members of the Kosovo Security Force in the territory of the state concerned. The ceremony was attended by CHOD, Major General Xhemal Gjunkshi, KSF commander, General. Kadri Kastrati, and senior representatives of the institutions from both countries.
Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Albania and the Security Forces of the Republic of Kosovo have formalized a very important agreement, which will facilitate the passing and temporary stay of mutual military forces on the territory of the both countries. This agreement aims at strengthening military cooperation in the region and follows the organization of joint activities, which so far have proved very successful.
