The Holiday of New Year gathered together in the premises of the Ministry of Defense many children and family members of servicemen and civilian employees who serve in the Armed Forces. The event organized by CCMDP was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense, Mr. Dritan Hila, the Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Brigadier General Piro Ahmetaj, the Deputy Commander of the Land Force , Colonel Dilaver Hoxha, representatives from the MoD and GS, etc.
The program of the event began in the Great Square of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces from the National Armed Forces Wind Orchestra, which performed festive music, along with children's sports teams that demonstrated exercises in different sports. Afterwards, the participants visited an exhibition with the best paintings of 2013 completed by the children of the visual arts course, as well as artistic and cultural products prepared by CCMDP during 2013.
Afterwards the event continued with an artistic concert, where various pieces of music, songs, dances, poetry recitations, etc. were performed. New Year gifts were given at the end of this artistic activity for the Children of the Recreation Center and sports teams in CCMDP. The Deputy Minister of Defense, Mr. Dritan Hila gave a New Year package to Egi Vogli, daughter of the Homeland Martyr, Captain Feti Vogli, and wished for the holidays all children of military personnel participating in this activity . The gifts for the children of military personnel were made possible by the Military Export-Import Enterprise, MEICO.
