The Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, through a congratulatory message addressed to all members of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of Christmas.
“Dear professional soldiers, NCOs, officers and civilian employees of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania,
Christmas Holyday gives me special pleasure and honor to congratulate and thank all members of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.
My first congratulation on this special day goes to our members of the military on missions abroad, for their families who will raise their first toast for the children, their husbands who are away from our beloved Fatherland, but who hold up their flag and name of Albania with their sacrifices and contributions.
A special thanks is dedicated to the sacrifices and contribution of many generations of veterans who have served in the Armed Forces during the entire existence of the Albanian Army.
Today on this special day we are aware that thanks to the work, sacrifices and dedication of the Albanian military members wherever they serve, we enjoy a more secure and peaceful life, as we are convinced that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania will continue to make their contributions as they have until today, even in the future, for the good of our country but also in the efforts with our allies for peace and security throughout the world.
