Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo has attended a meeting on Thursday with the High Defense Security course participants (HDSC), which is being conducted at TRADOC,  September 9 to  December 6, 2013.

General Bazo exchanged views with HDSC participants, being closely familiar with the academic programs of this high course, which is aimed at creating the best possible relations with countries in the region, and the development of more objective approaches as regards the challenges of peace and security in the Balkan region, and beyond.

General Bazo inspects engineer troops engaged in assisting local government in Shkodra

Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, after visiting the First Infantry Battalion in Shkodra at Vau i Dejes, held a meeting with sapper battalion ranks of the Regional Support Brigade, who for several days have been performing works in the interests of central and local government concerning the road; Shkoder-Hani Hoti.

During this visit Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo was accompanied by LF commander, Major General, Zyber Dushku and the RPB Commander, Brigadier General, Muhamet Buçpapa. General Bazo thanked the engineering ranks for the great job they have implemented, showing once again that the Armed Forces are closer to citizens.

Major General Bazo inspects infantry battalion at Vau i Dejes

Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, accompanied by the Land Forces Commander, Major General Zyber Dushku and the Commander of RPB, Brigadier General Muhamet Buçpapa, has developed an inspection today in the first battalion of infantry Vau i Dejes (b1k), Shkodra, to identify the readiness of the unit on the brink of the winter. The commander of the First Infantry Battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Nikolin Lazri recognized the head of the Armed Forces with the measures taken to cope with the every possible emergency situation in the region of Shkodra.

Chief of General Staff of AF, Major General Jeronim Bazo took part in a seminar on personnel management

Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo has participated in a seminar on personnel management, organized by the Department of Management and Human Resource Training and Personnel Directorate in GS.

In this seminar, held at the Defence Academy, participated chiefs and personnel specialists from major commands and support units. The purpose of the workshop was to assess and analyze the management procedures and development of military and civilian personnel in the Armed Forces.

Major General Jeronim Bazo received in a meeting Mr. Frank Boland, Director of Planning at NATO International Staff

Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces Major General Jeronim Bazo, received in a special meeting Mr. Frank Boland, Director of Planning at NATO International Staff, who heads the team of NATO. General Bazo, after giving a summary of the latest achievements of the Albanian Armed Forces, appreciated the successful cooperation with NATO structures.

"I expresses the commitment that the Armed Forces will be included as qualitatively in the NATO defense planning, through the fulfillment of a package of capacity, mainly focusing on the establishment and implementation of group-battalions", said among others General Bazo. On the other hand, Mr. Boland has praised the progress of the Albanian Armed Forces in fulfilling its obligations in NATO.

Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, received in a courtesy meeting today, the military attaché of the Republic of Turkey, Colonel Nizamettin Dogar, upon taking office. Colonel Dogar, expressed confidence that the level of cooperation between our two countries in the field of defense, will continue to recognize progress.

On his part, General Bazo thanked for the the Republic of Turkey's strong support for our nation’s integration into NATO, and has assessed the current level of cooperation between the Albanian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Turkey in the fields of education-training, modernization and logistics. Colonel Dogar and General Bazo shared conviction that the relations of cooperation between the Armed Forces of Albania and Turkey will intensify further in the future, not only at the bilateral level but also within the Euro-Atlantic Alliance.
